Altell RAZR V3C Odd Icon (help!)

Hey guys, first time poster.. this site is a lifesaver. Anyways, here is my problem:
Recently i've noticed my phone's alarms dont sound off in the morning when they're set... and just recently my ringers arent going off when people are calling. My phone is set to Loud, with the ringers on the very highest setting.. There is a odd lil icon on the top of my phone thats to the left of the sound setting icon, its blue, and looks like a lil speaker with a slash through it. Can somebody please tell me how to turn that off? Or what it means.. there is absolutely no sound coming from the speaker on my phone.. when i turn speakerphone off i can hear people and they can hear me.. but, there is no ringers or speakerphone.. when i turn it on, i get no sound. Thanks in advance, i hope this post makes sense (im a noobie).
