Tilt SMS messaging sounds

Whenever I recieve a message on my tilt it vibrates and plays the full ringtone even after I have replied, if I reply before the song ends. Is there a way to fix this?

Yes, shorten your SMS ringtone. Its the only way that I know of. WM wants to play the whole ringtone for SMSs.

I hated the vibrate mode on my sms / email notify.
go to
start -> settings -> sounds & notifications -> notifications tab
it wont' fix the ringtone length problem, but you can turn off the vibrate here and change it to a shorter notifier.
