Motorola KRZR Music Problem

KRZR recognizes that I have a memory card in there but won't find my music that I put on it. Help please?

what bit rate are the mp3s?? also are they constant bit rate or variable bit rate?? I believe you have to keep the mp3s at or below 192kbps
