GMail on Tilt with Kaiser Rom

set up a GMail account on Tilt (HTC kaiser rom), but always showing error synchronizing, and then the cannot connect button will jump out and ask me to check settings. I try to access web page thru IE, and the connection is working....is there something wrong with the Kaiser Rom?

oh nvm, i got it. the default setting for gmail is to connect to Internet, not medianet
