i had my sidekick service turned off temporarily. how long will your danger account and email (@tmail.com) stay valid without logging in from your device? the customer care rep i spoke to said it should stay active for one month, but said he wasnt 100% sure. thanks in advance

yeah it's something incredibly short like 1 - 3 months. if you can find the terms of service for the sidekick, it's stated there

I would think a month. That is pretty standard given the turnover of accounts.

chevyg is right. i had the sidekickII years ago then had the MDA (6months), then BB 8700g(8months), then went to the sidekick3. Got the sidekick punched in my username and password and boom i was back. Contacts, to do lists, email accounts everything was still there. all my email came flooding in. I was deleting year old emails that whole day. the sidekick3 only holds a certain amount of emails at a time. I would delete a bunch and then a whole bunch more came.

I'll be the 3rd to confirm the 1 year plus backup. I left my SK2 for my MDA and when the MDA finally gave out 14 months later I went back to the SK2. I didn't have to put in my account info either. It just remembered and went right back to work. I'm getting the LX next week and my Mother, of all people, is taking over the SK2!
