HOWTO Disable Welcome/Startup Nokia branded animation+tone on 6233

Hey guys..

I've looked everywhere and nothing concrete. I was wondering if anyone has a step-by-step instructions on how to turn off (disable) the Nokia animated welcome/start up screen and tone. The animated I speak off is the with the two hands coming together and with Nokia logo underneath.

I do own LogoManager and I tried usnig it but it just can't get it to work properly--I'm sure I"m doing something wrong.
I'm able to get to the themes.ini file but again, I'm not sure what variables I need to change.

I'm using a Nokia 6233 fw 5.43 S40 3rd FP1

The shutdown screen is not as annoying as the startup.

Hey Fred333,

I tried googling.. no hits, I've tried also looking on the Nokia Support forums but no one there replied to the org. posts.

If anyone is interested, I resolved the issue

After working with Mike (great guy!) at LogoManager.co.uk, which by the way offers great Windows software for Nokia, he was able to pinout the culprit and with a simple uncheck in a check box, I was able disable the Nokia welcome screen with the use of Nokia Profile/NKProfile, a product by creators of LogoManager
