Sounds stupid...but how do you take battery cover off the tilt?

I've been trying for over an hour and just cannot do it. Maybe I'm being too gentle (dont want to break the thing 5 minutes after getting it), but I've placed my thumbs in the positions in the manual. I've pushed, I've shoved, I've palmed...what am I doing wrong? I searched and haven't seen any topics on this so I assume it's easy for everyone here?

the whole back comes off, so give it a little bit more force.

I had the same problem with my BJ. That sucker needed a screwdriver to get it off. LOL

Thanks for the response. I finally got it off, but omg I hope I never have to do that again.

. You feel like you are gonna snap the thing in two tryin to get it off.

To anyone else with problems, just push a little bit harder than you think you should and focus your pressure near the center, and not the sides like in the manual

Or watch many many youtube video reviews on the tilt/kaiser. Almost all of them show you how to take the battery cover off.
