Tether HTC Excalibur to Vista Business

Hi Everyone,

I know there are already a lot of posts out there on this but I have tried them all to no avail. I have an unlocked HTC S620 (not Dash) that I use with AT&T. I have the Smartphone Connect Unlimited plan and would like to tether it to my Vista Business laptop. I am able to connect it via bluetooth and the network center recognizes an established connection, but it says it's 'Local Only' and has not access to the internet. Same thing happens when I tether via USB. I have already tried completely disabling the firewall and that does not help either. What am I missing here?

Figured out what my problem was. I just had to change the naming convention of my connection on the phone.
