Tilt Wifi better than 8125?

For those who have the Tilt, has the Wifi improved since the 8125?
I have found the wifi on my 8125 to be very difficult to keep connected -- to the point that I simply don't use it.
I would probably replace all the 8125's that we have if the wifi worked better.
Thanks in advance!

Can you elaborate on the problems you were having with connectivity?
As far as reception goes, the Tilt seems quite strong. At a local coffee shop where I 'steal' wifi from someone across the street the signal is so marginal that I can barely keep my laptop connected without a directional antenna, and some laptops won't even connect.
But the Tilt found it, connected, and stayed connected with no problem. I was quite surprised.
The Wifi does still shut off when the device powers down (sleep) to save battery. So unless you leave it on constantly and kill the battery it'll disconnect between uses.
I have it set to not sleep when on the charger. So at night I plug in the charger and it stays on wifi all night long.

I was unable to set a connection that would stay on unless I was almost next to the transmitter.
Finally, I gave up. But as I started to consider the Tilt -- I am not as frequent a phone adopter as many here -- it seemed to be a question worth revisiting.
Thanks for the information. This sounds much better.

Mine doesn't quit in my house. I have a WAP-protected Verizon FIOS wireless network, and it works just fine. My Tilt will even pick up the wireless networks from both of my neighbors, as well as WLAN''s from other houses as I'm driving through a neighborhood. It's gotten even better since flashing the HTC Rom.
