Tilt Problems

1. Earpiece speaker buzz. I received two Tilts on Monday; on one, the earpiece speaker had a pretty horrible buzz. The replacement also has this problem, to a slightly lesser degree. The other Tilt that I have is fine.

2. The button assembly on both units that I initially received is loose and moves around. The replacement does not have this problem.

3. Several times on each Tilt I have had at some point the Start menu will cease to be functional. Not even the hard Start button works. Soft reset is necessary.

My button assembly on the front is a little lose. It wiggles around.
Are you telling me I have a bad one, or is this just the design? I assumed this was just normal.

Well it doesn't bother me so I don't think I'll bother considering everything else about my unit seems to be working perfectly. I'd rather not hassle with replacing it for such a trivial thing and risk other problems.

The first 8525 I got had the mic. go dead within 4 days. That was an odd one.

RF9,

I'm in the same boat as you. Mine wiggles a little bit, but I figured its not worth risking getting another one for something so minor. I figure I got a 1year warranty (at least I think I do), so if something should break I'll send it in then.

The 'wiggle' is very very minor. I noticed it the first time I touched it but honestly haven't noticed since then. I think it's a non-issue really.

another wiggler here as well. does not seem to affect the button response as of yet however.
