Tilt Back-light Not shutting completely off

The back light on my Tilt after 30 seconds just goes dim about 75 % intensity. The back light only goes dim and never shuts off like in the 8125. When the Tilt goes into standby the screen does go completely dark.

I have seen this behavior on two different Tilts I received directly from AT&T.

Is this Normal ? HTC support says no but I got the feeling the fellow never saw one and didn't have one to look at.

Its normal, the settings for your backlight are probably => 30 s, and turn off device display is probably => 1 min. You can change this under start->settings->system tab->backlight->battery power tab. Then from there MENU->power->"advanced" tab and go to where it says "Turn off device if not used for"

Mine does the same thing.

Tilt is programmed for screen to dim, not black out. You would need a regedit to change.
