According to the ATT website, the tilt has Infrared (IrDa). See:

Click in "specs"

yet every other refrence I find says it does not.

Does it?

There are BEAM settings on it. Has anyone tried?

Upon inspection, I don't see an IR port anywhere on the Tilt though.

Wait, why would att say:
"Stereo Bluetooth® 2.0 / Infrared (IrDA)"

if the tilt didn't have Infrared!? I dont see it anywhere on the phone, but seems weird...
