Simultaneous ul and dl speedtest site (like voip?)

Most of the speedtest sites only does one way test (one at a time...)
Is there any sites that does Simultaneous (ul and dl) speedtest like for voip apps? Does the downstream being active affect the upstream like cable modems, etc do?

I want to test that with EVDO connection. but with voip I get timeouts with ping when the test is started... too much packet loss I think? but voip uses UDP so that may be a problem too? does speedtest.net use TCP or UDP for testing? thanks
