I had the bright idea as a professional poker player to move to Roma for a few weeks and continue on my merry way. Unfortunately, Italians don't use the internet, it's not a staple at flats I've checked out.

I purchased a vodaphone wireless card for 200e. The service in my hotel room near the train terminal is not reliable. If this continues to be the case, I'll need to consider other options.

For the duration of my trip, I can not be tied to a contract, ideally someone who has done something similar can chime in.

edit: I should note I'm connected to vodaphone IT HSDPA and the card is for UTmS connections and the default is for UTMS.
