Jailbreak to 1.1.1 successful, now Contacts are wacked out

Anybody else have this problem? I was able to successfully jailbreak up to 1.1.1, then loaded it up with 3rd party apps, but now my Contacts are messed up. They are not in alphabetical order. I have 'M' names under the 'V' banner, etc. So I tried using iTunes 'Advanced' section to replace them all. It just got worse, and duplicated a bunch of them 10 or more times. Ugh.

after mine was jail broken when I first sync'ed everything abck, it had restored the display order to Last name, First name, so things were messed up.

I just went to Settings / Contacts / And set both Sort and Display order to First , Last.

Then everything was ok.
