Hi,

We cracked the screen on a Wing and I am wondering if there are alternatives to sending the phone into t-mobile for repair.

Also, any recommendations for a case to prevent this from happening again? I would prefer to get something that you can slide the keyboard out of while in the case and which closes easily and flips open. Like having your Wing in a check register.

yes just keep it iin your holdster all the time if you are not using it... thats the best bet.

there are two companies that sell hardcover, slide out cases for the Wing and Dash. iGoneMobile.com and cellphoneshop.net. I had ordered two covers from igone for my Dash. A clear and smoked cover. But on the day they arrived, I totaled my truck and my Dash ended up at the bottom of a canal. So now I have a wing and I ordered the same type for my wing.

When I got the merchandise, I realized they were very good construction and would definately help against damage.

As far as alternatives to sending yours to T-Mobile. When I used to own an iPaq, I found several companies that sold replacement LCD screens when I cracked mine and they also offered tutorials on how to replace the screen. I don't know about the wing because it might be too new of a phone. But you'll have to search though.
