Hi!

Ok I bought last week my new iphone in NYC (1.1.1). I downloaded yesterday the new solution from IPSF and this is what I did :
Downgrade to 1.0.2
Used IPSF to unlock my phone
It took some time but it was not that difficult and my phone worked perfectly ! so I can confirm that it DOES work that is if you remain under 1.0.2 but then my problem occured...

I decided to upgrade to 1.1.1 since I thought it was upgrade proof and now my phone doesnt work anymore. I am stuck in the Activation Screen. I tried relaunching Winstaller and I used Activate or Reactivate but I am stuck in the following mode "the phone is now restarting in boot mode" then NOTHING .... my iphone now keep showing an image of the cable that should be plugged to Itunes. I did this a few times already and I kept restoring 1.1.1 to be able to see the Activation Screen again .... I can tell my phone is still unlock because it doesnt say "Invalid Sim" but really I am stuck here... anyone else has the same problem??? I should have NEVER upgraded to 1.1.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

First question, did you activate your iphone with itune or jailbreak it? If your phone is jailbroken then you need to follow the jailbreaker tutorial for 1.1.1
