Is there a GUI for 1.1.1 for unlocking, jailbreaking and activating a 1.1.1 iPhone? I have a 1.0.2 phone and have been waiting to upgrade to 1.1.1 and hoping such a GUI would emerge. Thanks.

Wait until Oct 20-30th for an automated installer. If you did some reseach on these forums you would of know that.

I need a GUI for jailbreak and activation....unlocking not needed.. I have a 1.0.2 with ATT SIM, activated thro' Independence.... Any suggestions??

I used this last night http://iphone.cricblogs.com/one-cli...ws-by-msbasher/ using the tiff exploit in 1.1.1.

Just download the zip file and then run a bat file, it will install installer, from there you can install programs, I then used scp to put in other stuff, NES Roms, custom icons, etc.

I tried this last night and when i get to the part where I enter Iphones IP address it always says fatal erron in connecting
Any ideas?

Girls, it's not really that hard. Use the TIFF exploit. I don't even think that I had to use my superior knowledge to do that ...

Sheesh. But in all honesty, and to exclude the pompousness, it's not that big of a burden to unlock & unjail the iPhone without a GUI. You just need to know a few commands: ssh, mv, cp, chmod, and chown

im not to savy when it comes to hacking, whats a TIFF exploit
If i had more time to study this id be ok but I dont have all the time to figures this out

So, that being said
I have a 4gig iphone with the latest update
how do I unjail it so i can add a few 3rd party apps

Also remember that iPhone and iPod Touch are essentially synonymous.

The only difference, realistically, is the Phone capabilities (and the limitations of the iPod Touch that Apple tried to be cool about)

DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT FIRST READING IT. If you feel that you cannot complete the guide without help, then don't do the 1st step. It will change the Media directories inside your i-Phone/Pod touch and prevent iTunes from syncing until you either: A. Reinstall the device's software; B. Complete the guide

Don't even need to know the commands really. Most can be copy/pasted from the guide to the terminal window. Only 3 or 4 (The ones in iPHUCK) have to actually be typed in. And

really isn't all that complex to type....
