Is this possible following an unlock? If so, anyone have a link to a thread about unlocking it? I haven't found anything on here yet.

yeah, you can use it. if it's not already unlocked, try the buy & sell forum. if it's your's you'll have to delete your t-mo bis account and set it up through att bis site.

Caution....chk to see if it has 850 band...a lot of ATT markets still use 850 extensively. Depending on where you are, you may experience drop calls with just 1900.

Thanks for all the replies. This will be replacing my ATT Treo 750 (which I hate using). I already have a data plan for it; not sure if work will pay for Blackberry (all our are Verizon) so will I be able to sync my mail with a PC connection?

does your email from from MS exchange? or do you know what type of server?

We do have MS Exchange and we are able to do Blackberrys... its just a question of whether or not my manager will pay for it.
I am currently using the Treo 750 and just doing a bluetooth sync and thats all I want; its just a really crappy phone.

I have a question. How should I handle this? Just got a T-Mobile pearl. I was thinking of changing the software on the phone with the AT&T software for use on AT&T. The phone is locked right now. I'm thinking I have to unlock it first then change he software. Can I update software then unlock it? Eitherway I do it, will it work????? What is the best way to handle this?
