V Cast Music Manager

Ok, so I just got this kit so I can listen to some music on my phone (a SLVR). I stuck the CD in and installed the updates and the Music Manager program thing. The thing is, it wont recognize my phone! I click the "connect" button which lights up for a couple seconds like it's searching for the device, but then it turns dark again, my phone says "Connect Failure, Please check your cable connection to the PC". The USB cable is connected just fine.
Also, when I hook my phone up this window pops up, which leads to this.
Can someone please help? I want to listen to "Kickstart my Heart" on my phone!
