Question about iphone

Well i want to get the iphone but i called them up just now and asked them if i get an iphone can i take off the media net package and she said no the phone will not work all together!
is this true? thx guys

The MEdia Net plan will work on the iphone. MEdia Net and the Iphone data both use WAP from AT&T if I'm not mistaken.
My friend and myself are using unlocked iphones. We have the $19.99 MEdia Max plan and it's working fine on our iphones.
If you're going to activate your iphone then you will be converted to the iphone data plan. If you are going to use an unlocked iphone then the MEdia Net Plan will work just fine. Make sure you get the "Max" since it's unlimited data.
