Anyone managed to get MPT working with the motorola z6?

no matter what i do its just not being recognised

works fine if i change the phone to mass storage device settings (Transfers mp3s fine)

any ideas?

4.5.6a is the latest and greatest.

If you don't have it you can contact Avanquest and ask them to Email you the update.

ok strange

i need to create a new thread

it works if u put the phone to modem setting

but whilst on media sync it will not work

MTP error is what i see in device manager list

It only works in Modem. Media Sync is for transfering with Windows Media Player

yep media sync isnt working with media player :-(

my pc is now detecting media sync as a digital camera

but memory card works fine with media player....

strange...

I have the exact opposite issue... my ROKR Z6 has worked fine with MPT 4.5.6a from the get go (while in modem mode). However no matter what I try I can never seem to get it to work right in the "memory card" mode that is supposed to allow the phone to mount as a USB drive. My XP does mount the Z6 but it actually creates two drives (F: and G

but if I try accessing either of them with Explorer I receive an error about the drive not being accessible (or something like that).
