when the phone is 'closed" how do you adjust the volume?? i tap on the speaker icon,, but nothing happens. in fact, nothing happens when i tap on those icons on the top left hand corner.. when the phone is "tilted' those icons do work!!
now,, i do not have an active sim card in,, because i am currently using an iphone and wanted to check this out as i might switch..
it just seems as though one ought to be able to adjust volume, etc on the phone when it is not open..
on another note,, can you bluetooth different sounds to the storeage card and use those sounds as ringtones??
thanks..
this phone is nice,, but much more complex than my iphone..LOL

yes you can change volume just tap the speaker icon with your stylus when you get more used to it you'll get it with your finger nail. when you hit it it drops the volume bar down. for ringtones use active sync and put ur mp3s in the folder called my documents (you may have to use wav files for text message tones haven't got that far yet) then go to start/settings/sounds and notifications/notifications. that's where you change your tones. also under contacts you can change individual tones. soon there will be a program out to use ur scrollwheel to change the volume control its a new phone and these things take time. on aother note these phones whip the iphone in everyway 3g internet browsers video software and dependability etc etc I have a lot of friends that don't like the iphone for a lot reasons
