Can I change the sound for my email coming in with BB push? instead of it making a noise and vibrating, to be silent. and if I get a text message or multimedia message, make a regular sound?

Go to Start/Settings/Sounds & Notifications
Then click the Notifications tab at the bottom of the screen
Use the drop down box for Event to select what you want and then use the check boxes to select if you want it to play a sound or vibrate, etc.

thanks man... those sounds were getting sooo annoying sometimes

I thought it was in there, but didn't loook hard enough. thought it was the setting just for that one choice, didn't know there was a drop down.

Taking this a step further.... Is there a way to have the red light come on when an e-mail is received?

I have a check under flash light for new email, but I do not see any REALLY special LED blink when a new email arrives (it barely changes a shade from green to yellow so I guess that is what they mean).

Most BB's have a bright red light flash when an e-mail comes in and that is very effective vs. a sound/vibration.

I believe a red light comes on the TILT when the battery is below 10%.

There's a little app someone created that will let you completely adjust how the lights work on the Kaiser/Tilt/8925. It lets you control the blinking of the red, green, blue, and amber of the left and right lights for different situations. Do a search (here and google) for Kaiser notification lights and you should find the app. It works well. I just decided i didn't need it though.
