My tilt keyboard backlight goes off after 10 seconds or so, how do I make it so it stays on longer?

An edit to the system registry is necessary to accomplish this. There is a tool someone wrote that does this for you with a simple user interface:

In my opinion, this should have been a user configurable setting and 10 seconds is far too short in the dark. 30 seconds seem just right.

Some of my favorites are:
"Show Network Operator Name in today screen" The Treo 750 had this on by default and I missed it.
"Disable annoying beeps when changing in-call volume" (Just turn off the vol up/down, but kept max and min)
"Change UMTS to 3G for HTC Plug-in (Elf/Kaiser Style) and/or Wireless Plug-in"
I used to enable battery meter on the task bar, but the new SPB Pocket Plus does this so I now use it instead.

A free reg editor: Total Commander
A good (not free) reg editor: Resco Explorer with registry editor plug-in.
