K790a Debranding/Unlocking issue (R6BC002 firmware)

I just recently flashed my k790a with the lastest firmware from wotan, R6BC002. The flash completed successfully without any problems. Now, prior to this I had the phone unlocked but now after I flashed, my SIM doesn't work anymore in the k790a. I figured I might of had a patch unlock done before so I went into the phone service menu->service info->SIM lock to look at the locking. It shows the following:

Network (locked) 5
Network subset (unlocked) 5
Service provider (unlocked) 5
Corporate (unlocked) 5
Extended (unlocked) 5

To my understanding, if the service provider is unlocked, any SIM should work. Just to point out, when I did the flash, no SIM card or memory card was in the phone.

So my question is, is it a firmware issue that's causing this SIM card issue or is it something else that I might be missing? Does the Network have to be unlocked as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind, figured out the problem.

I have a similar issue, so what was the solution?

You now have to pay DaVinci 70 some odd dollars to unlock it for you. I've just been through this twice. If you have the latest firmware and CID52 then that is the only way to unlock it. If you still have older firmware with an older CID then there are cheaper ways, but as soon as you flash it it will be locked again.

I had a full unlock done for cheap, unlocked using IMEI # of the phone. So it should be unlocked completely even after another flash. If not, I still have the code to unlock it again so no more future problems.
