Pearl Video

I have been having trouble getting an MPEG-4 file to play in full screen on my Pearl. I have heard that 3rd party software will solve my problem. The device works fine as the stock BB video file plays well and in full screen.

Does anyone have any advice on this for me? My service provider so far has been quite unhelpful.

Many thanks.

It will provide some info that may be helpful.

I use pqdvd for Palm to encode the video. And just copy to my card through a card reader. www.pqdvd.com. I have tried so many encoders that I can't begin to remember tham all. pqdvd does the job well in many formats. I use the video on my palm devices, past phones and laptop. pqdvd is reasonably priced and was very much worth it to me. Also, I suggest the Palm version over the other larger version as it works everytime. For me, the other version fails 90% of the time. The Palm version works 100% of the time and you still have all the resolutions and file formats available.

Thanks John. Much appreciated. I am still struggling over here, but am closer to a resolution I think.
