xv6700 just bought off a friend, people cant hear me

people cant hear me, i can hear them. thats what the previous owner told me. also he says the time sometimes sticks and messes up.
whats wrong with it? is it probably the mic or is this a common problem.
easy fix?
i paid 50$ for it, its in MINT MINT cond physical wise 
same guy that got me my one loaded mint for 140 working perfect
