I am trying to get ringtones I made on the BB. I tried Tuneusin.com, but they never posted them. Is there another way to upload ringtones?

Why not just use Media Manager from within Desktop Manager to copy them over? Or E-mail the file to yourself as an attachment and then save it out on the BB from there...

I emailed them to my phone, but can't figure out how to get the attachment into the bb ringtone list?

Use Media Manager to move them from the desktop to the phone. Do you have an microSD memory card? How large are the ringtones?

I don't have access to desktop syncing. I can only send myself emails.
Also, what type micro card do I need? I don't have one now, I just wantd to try one song to see if it would work.

You can't mail yourself songs.
Either download them from the Internet or load from a PC.

Really. That's too bad. I was able to email a photo and download it into th pictures section. I don't have a pc manager and the songs I want are not available for download.

I just emailed myself a song in .wav file and saved into ringtone without problem. I thought something fishy when it was said that it can't be e-mailed as my voicemail is converted to .wav file and sent to me all of the time. Tried with a larger MP3 file and got errors while trying to download. What you need to do is get the file converted to a .wav file and you should have no problem sending it to yourself, besides with a ringtone, a small .wav will suffice as their really is no need for the entire song as only a few seconds will play anyway.

Did it and got it loaded. However, the sound is pretty bad (sounds fine in iTunes, but very muddy on the bb. Is that the bb speaker, or do I need to convert it to a certain type of wav.
Thanks, Jim
