8125 broken screen...retrieve contacts?

one of my customers came in with a broken screen on an 8125. he asked me to help him retrieve his contacts. of course i couldnt see anything and i dont have a cellebrite machine so i told him to leave me his number and id see if you guys could help.
he has his data cable and has active sync on his pc and outlook on his work pc
can we save his contacts?
o just looked closer at his account, hes now got an iphone. would that complicate matters any?

Should be fine as long as the phone still turns on.
Just sync it with the computer and he should be good to go.

he tried to use active sync but says theres no option for contacts.
ive never synced a PPC so i dont know the procedure.

Can't remember AS as well, been using Vista's set up for a while, but I think if he removes the profile of the phone from his AS, and plugs in the phone, it should prompt to sync and ask what he wants to sync (calender, contacts, files, etc)

He must have Outlook installed on the PC in order to sync contacts. 8125 should come with a CD that has a version of Outlook on it.
