What Is Your Primary Use?

I'd like to take a poll just to see how many of us are general consumers and how many of us are strictly business users... and those who are in the middle.

I have one for personal use only (8320 Curve) and one strictly for work e-mails and work-related business (really boring crap).

We're all pretty passionate about this stuff, it seems, more so than the typical Blackberry owner that hasn't yet stumbled onto Howard Forums! So I'd like to see who owns one and what they mainly use it for.

I'm using the 8100 Pearl and use it for both personal and business use & am very happy with how well it can do both jobs. I am taking a look at the 8300/8310 but am in no hurry.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I also had the Pearl and it was a good phone. It served it's purpose and I was perfectly happy with it. Then I sold it on eBay to buy the iPhone... Big mistake. I regretted it and sold the iPhone to my little brother and am back on the Blackberries. Doing e-mail on the iPhone was a pain in the rear.

Owning my own company it is hard to make a seperation. My Blackberry does so much for me to keep me on track with what I need to do, I would be lost without it.

No joking, I keep a new or near new Blackberry at the office as a spare at all times. I back up everyday and update the spare twice a week. If I leave town, the spare goes with me. It has all of my contacts and schedule and would be hard to replace.

Damn Greg I never knew you were THAT addicted

I use mine mainly for personal. I do have a few side things that I do and having the BB makes it more convenient. As most people in the biz have a BB now a days. It's definitely a great tool for business users and general consumers alike.

I am mainly a data user tho. I am hardly on the phone as I try to do as much as possible via text, email and IM. It's the new way of life

When I was contracting independently, my BB was both my personal phone and my work lifeline. Now that my company gives me a (POS) Sprint phone, I make all my work calls with it, but still use my BB for data in the field and for all my personal calls and mobile internet usage.

i use it for both. it is worked issued, but i use it more for email and my iphone for media/internet

100% Personal use. I got my first taste of a PDA type phone w/ the N-gage and I've never looked back. My last phone was the PPC and even though I miss the mass supply of FREE 3rd party apps I have to say the BB 8320 is a great phone.

Mostly personal, but I have a side business that I use it for. Either way, it is my life line. I love to have email, internet, calendar, etc on the fly.

I have a cell phone for voice and sms, and a Blackberry for e-mail and data. I have not had good luck with Blackbery as a phone, as I've always had complaints about background noise, no matter which model I had. So I decided to go separate.
