i just recieved the sidekick lx saturday and everything seemed fine till i noticed i wasnt recieving pic messages.. i had people from different companys cingular, sprint etc etc try and send me messages and nothin. even from the same service my girlfriend tried sending me some picture messages and nothing. i went to the tmobile store and they dont know what to do. and im to impatient to call customer support and sit there and listen to a robot talk about nothin.. has anyone with a sidekik lx have any problems trying to recieve pic messages?? or am i the only one

You need to upgrade to the new data plan which works with the mms. Its $19.99 now instead of $20.00. Call c.c. Or do it online.

hmmm.. i thought i did upgrade but maybe i upgraded to the sidekick 3 data plan or something thanks

you do not need to upgrade if you have the lx the plan listed for me as a new user is the same for the previous kick......you need to SOFT reset ....which is pressing the yellow @ key the 1 key and the 0 key all AT ONCE......if that does not work......repeat that.....and then hold the W key down and you will get a sidekick picture sticking its tongue out and you want to reset ................you should receive an update and that should fix the prob ...if it does NOT...it could be the tower that you are associated with ...as long as you have a g next to the 7 ......u should be good...but cycle it down and then turn it back on...to insure that its not hung up in the network

I had a similar issue until I sent an MMS message out. Then I was able to receive them.

I have this issue on the slide now.
Before whenever i tried sending out a message, it gave me the unable to send part. Now it supposedbly sends the message but it disappears from the sent folder, then i get like 3 messages i sent to myself and it takes forever to receive them.

Yess mms works for prepaid and the problem i have i send a pic to me i recive it but when i send to ppl they get it and when they send a pic it says cannot retrive message and its 25 cents to send and 25 cents to recive for prepaid users im still waiting for the pic messages to be fix
