hello,

i have my bb sitting with my new wall charger. i see no light, when i first plugged it in, it flashed red and turned on. i checked the battery status and 0%, so i turned it off and left it charging. This is a new battery that im trying to charge. i tryed a older battery with same results when attached to my computer with the desktop software installed. it has no water damage and is in great condition.

advice?

edit: i just looked at it and it said 60% after 30 mins of charging time. i will let it charge for a full 12hours on the first initial charge and cross my fingers that i dont have a slightly bricked bb.

Try to turn it on. Even with a dead or near dead battery it sould turn on without the radio. If it does not turn on after charging only a few minutes you might have bigger problems

strange. it went "jumped" from 0% to 60% in half a hour. in other words it went from radio will not be allowed to turn on to fully functional. i charge for 12 hours and it is now at 100% after 1 hour off of charge and radio off. turned radio on now and appears to work fine..
