MediaMax200, what happens to my bill if I upgrade to a Tilt?

The people at ATT are saying that my 20 dollar a month unlimited data plan will be no more and I will need to pay 44 for a PDA personal plan.
Now in some areas there are upgrades to the system but not in mine. I am on Kauai and the speeds for data are slow.
Any thoughts out there?

Is it possible to have media max 200 with a tilt? If i can recall correctly, you just wont be able to get your rebates if you refuse to switch over to a PDA plan. Or you can have a PDA plan to get the rebates but have to keep it for a minimum of 6 months to keep you rebates, then you can change it back to media max 200.

If you plan on using any of the rebates, you will not be able to use your mediamax plan. If you do not care about the rebates do the upgrade online without talking to an AT&T representative. I know many people who have done this and have been using the MediaMax 200 $20 plan with their 8525 since it came out and with the Tilt.

Cool, how long is it necessary to hold a 39.99 plan to be qualified for the rebate? Thanks in advance.

You'd have to have it until the rebate is authorized/fullfilled. You can track the rebate online. Once approved, you can change data plans.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation.
