Mines are not lighting up when the music player plays a music.
I remember seeing a youtube video where the corner lights are in sync with the beat of the music.

I dont have one, but i been a sk user since B/W Sidekick 1... but yeah the reason is probably because the stock ringers lights up with the music. If its a downloaded ringtone my theory may be correct. Custom ringers dont go with the lights as you would like it too.

Yeah, this is true for SK2/SK3 (I cannot speak for LX) but this was only appearant when playing a e-mail song so try that with the LX
