bluetooth headset question! help!

How come the S55 doesn't transfer calls to my Jabra BT200 when I recieve a call? I had to first answer it by clicking on the phone and then click on my BT200 to pick up the call. Is that normal with you guys?? SAme as making a call, I have to click on my BT200 in order to transfer the sound from the phone to my headset.. there is no option in the call menu excep the speaker phone.. help~ is there something wrong w/ my S55?

I haven't been using that combo lately but that sounds about right. I don't think there is a problem specific to your S55.

It pains me to say it, but the t68i probably still has the best bluetooth implementation of any phone on the market. Ow that hurt.

really? so it's a design flaw for the S55?
sigh.. ya... i think i'm too used to T68is bluetooth implementation..

This topic had been covered extensively in this forum. Do a search and you'll find alot of info on it. If you want the call transfered right away you'll have to use a HBH 60 and f/w vsn 011.

I wouldn't entirely blame the S55, Jabra gets some credit.

It's a shame that bluetooth is still so tricky because it is amazingly useful when it works right.

I don't know with you guys but I have Jabra 200 and paired with S55, when I recieve calls, my phone sometimes does not even ring! I hear a beep on my headset and I got the call, without touching anything.
But if I make the call, I dial as usual and as soon as I hear the ring I press the phone icon on my headset. It does not autoconnect.

for some reason, I can pick up calls directly with my jabra BT200 now!! i mean.. when i recieve a call, my jabra headset will make a sound and all i have to do is click on the button on jabra and bingo!! this didn't work yesterday for some reason.. now i don't have to take the phone out of my pocket in order to pick up the call!! horay!!

If your headsets don't seem to work using f/w 011 then press the silver button on the left hand side of the fone upwards & change the profile to headset. I friends who's headsets don't ring when there is an incoming call unless the profile is set to headset then it'll work.... nuthin major I know but just a quick tip as it may help some out there.
