I have problem with the music player for iphone, i converted top hit cd with various artist but everytime i listen to the album the first track artist image comes up and when switching to another track artist, it stay to the first track image. Is there possible way to solve this? as i do not want to seperate the track

change the album artwork in itunes and then sync

Well you transfered songs from that one cd which only has one album cover

If you want them to have their own album cover you have to do it manually in iTunes by first getting the album cover from Google then editing the info of the song

i did both, i've added every artist album cover on each track and always stay at the first track cover even when changing the tracks of the album

You have to change the album name also

When I transferred my Charlie Brown Christmas CD to my iPhone (legally bought CD too, physical, not iTunes) some of the songs transferred as Vince Guaraldi and some transferred as Vince Guaraldi Trio so I had to highlight them and change some of the info so it matches and shows as one set and then I could have them all show as one album and one artist. THEN I could match up the cover art as one album. Some artists just don't worry as much about this info who aren't used to mp3's and iTunes kind of stuff. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Yes they will be in their own album which is better because thats how they suppose to be

Once you have them in their own album then you just turn the iPhone sideways and you have a better view

well if you want each song to have different artwork then u have to change the album name...in doing that the album doesnt exist anymore and then you wont have that greatest hits album...just a bunch of random songs with different art instead of an album with one cover

Those songs should be in its original album whatever it is (not the greatest hits)

He wants them to be in their own album not all in the greatest hits

Next time read the thread before you comment it just makes you look dumb

okay well in any case if he wants different art work for each song then the tags have to have different album names not whatever the various artist album that was converted's name and then each song would have its own album name and whatever artwork he associated with it...but if they all have the same album name the first song played from that album that art will be displayed

The only other way would be to make it like a podcast single split up track and associate art per each song/section

Sorry, the answer would be what mindset posted (just got iphone yestarday) do not know what the itune cover right words. Could you tell me more bout the podcast bit?

use mp3tag and add the album cover to the mp3. google it, its a freeware.

I dont see where he said it wanted them all in one album

If he puts them in their own album then when he plays the first song it will show its album then the second it will show its album etc...

There is no way to have it show different album cover and be in the same album

Ok, when you want them all IN one album you highlite the songs, right click, apply sort field, all matching fields.

Never tried it, but maybe there is a way to undo that, because I think the sort fields are what is doing it?

But why do you want to split them all anyways? That's kind of stupid and makes for a nice cluttered mess. I would keep them all in an album. But like others have said, changing the album name should do that. And if you said it keeps defaulting back, right click one of the songs you are having problems with, click get info, click on the album art tab, and see if there is more than one album art for that song. That sometimes will do that, and if so, delete the artwork you don't want by highlighting it and clicking delete.

See if that fixes the issue.
