KRZR K1 vs. SE W580i?

I'm trying to decide between the Motorola KRZR K1 and the SE W580i as it's time for me to renew my contract with AT&T. I've narrowed it down to these two but now can't decide which one to get. I'd appreciate any input you may have.

Here are the things that I'm interested in for my next phone:

*phone call reception (quality of the call and minimize drop calls)
*quality of camera photos
*playing music (don't plan on replacing the ipod, but would like to play some music on it)
*looks/design/aesthetics
*durability (I plan to keep it for the next 2 yrs)

I don't need a smartphone. I tend to use my phone now only as a regular phone with some texting and sending and receiving of pics. I'd just like a stylish upgrade to it.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I own a w580 and I can tell you this:

*phone call reception (quality of the call and minimize drop calls)
no dropped calls yet. call volume is pretty low, I frequently find myself guessing what the other person said or asking them to repeat.

*quality of camera photos
grainy pictures with crappy lighting. Decent pictures under sunlight. Gotta manually turn on/off night mode.

*playing music (don't plan on replacing the ipod, but would like to play some music on it)
it's a walkman phone.. nothing to complain about

*looks/design/aesthetics
WARNING: the phone is not the milky white color (if you're planning to get the white one, that is) shown on most photos. It's more of a silvery white. The side/button lights are pretty fun, and changes color depending on the theme you're using. The curve on the bottom of the phone is actually pretty cool combined with the sliding style. the KRZR's exterior is a big big finger print magnet, fyi.

*durability (I plan to keep it for the next 2 yrs)
cheap flimsy plastic, edge of black paint around the D-pad got chipped off by fingernails (not noticeable when closed, circle orange light shines through when open.. actually looks pretty cool XD). A portion of the phones have keypad cracking problems, so there is a risk upon purchase... otherwise the non-problematic phones (like mine) have pretty comfortable keypads.

the w580 has a bigger and clearer screen compared to the KRZR, to me that's a huge factor.. also the SE OS is pretty customizable with a wide range of themes available for download.

Between the two, no contest, KRZR K1. W580 is kinda of a POS (piece of ..., if you're not familiar).

Sony has bad build quality, average to poor reception, low call volume (already mentioned) and it's a PITA to remove either the SIM card (unless you drop the phone, then the SIM pops right out) or the battery cover.

KRZR has been out for a while, the bugs are worked out. UI is a little slow.

Thanks to both of you for your input. I really appreciate it.

I finally got a look at the white W580i in person yesterday, and I just didn't get the feeling that it would hold up for 2 years. Based on that and your input, I think I'll go with the KRZR. Thanks again!
