Selling Sidekick 3 - how to clear device

So I upgraded to the lx and now I am selling my sidekick 3. I already did a hard reset so my account info is gone, but I want to make sure whoever buys it from me is able to set it up for themselves. Right now when you turn it on without a sim card it goes to the main screen without asking for a username and password. Would it ask for that if a sim card was in it?

yeah I think once the new sim card is in it will ask for a login. At that point the new owner would take over.

... how much are you selling it for?

I had it posted on craigslist but I saw my local craigslist was kind of saturated with them so it is up on ebay now. It ends tommorow about this time.
