okay the camera is a lot better, java apps load up a lot faster, bootup time is faster

but idk y after i did the firmware upgrade my im+ program is not working. it keeps closing the app for reason code: KERN-EXEC, Reason number: 0 ???

this new firmware is kinda pissing me off. all my apps is having that kern error.

okay here is what i did to get my im+ working again.

first i uninstall the program

delete any folders that is associated with that program (i had some files under the "other" folders" and deleted it)

restarted the phone

install the program.

don't run it yet after install instead tap "no" and restart the phone.

then try if the program has the KERN ERROR

This worked for me but I only had one program on my phone so I don't know if it works for other ones.

i was on esato was told that the backup restore might have something to do with it. im planning to only backup my contacts and master reset my phone and start all over. might even redo the firmware too.

Much faster menu's and opening of apps and different camera layout.

I have however noticed more of my apps closing due to a kern error. Green tint for the camera is still there.

idk i have gw01 firmware i was able to get the update.

also idk if we had this before but if u go to the sound recorder we now have the track ID program which was found in the walkman series which will record a short clip of the song and trace it back to sony's music database and find out the name of the song, artist, and album. Very neat feature.

Now the camera interface can be used cuz before it would just take the pic and not show u a preview of it now it does. best firmware so far, it is also very stable too, the uptime now for the phone for me is about 4 days; now freeze up or lag at all.

very happy with it now! ^_^

i used seus to try and update my phone but it says that it's current and there is no need to update. am i doing something wrong?

probably firmware is only for certain areas

figured it out it was only for WG1 so i just used xs++ and changed the CDA to WG1 and now then i was finally able to update. Definetly some improvements over the last and its a wayyy faster phone thoughout now.

some people in HK forums have gotten a big clock in the middle
but i haven't seen how to get this on there

ne one know y i can't play Vijay singh pro golf 3d? i get this error application closed, reason code: USER, reason number: 11? do i have to reinstall the firmware on my phone?

just wondering if ne one else is having this same problem
