Tis was my day off today and I needed something to do. So I im'ed our fav buddy maevro and asked him how long he'd be @ work today. He told me the answer was 4pm. So I hopped on the 6 train and headed dwn to their store. WOW! Their store kicks ***! It's so luxorious. It's a phone geek's paradise, kind of like the Nokia Flagship store, but with all the major phone brands!! First, I'm taller then Maevro. I was surprised at that. He's your average white pretty boy. I looked like the Hispanic Bodyguard compared to him and I'm jus 5'9. But it was great talking phones and **** with him. Now more then ever, we need to do a hofo nyc meet. Urban!! Get ur **** together! Let's get it poppin!

Pretty boy!! Heh. I am 5' 7", so yes I am short. Good thing my girlfriend is shorter then me so it all works out.

The store is nice, they actually have another store uptown too. They do well with the store but I am very impressed with the amount of volume of phones that is moved. They also have a partnership with Nokia which is pretty sweet for them. Too bad I am not a real huge Nokia fan.

We should be getting the I-Mate 6150 & 8150 very soon, so I might put my hands on one of the 1st shipments.

It was nice to meet you, I will come annoy you at your store sometime. The extended battery cover on your 8525 looks like a little coffin. I do like your today screen setup, that was pretty solid looking. Good job on that.

Am I the only one here that's store-less?

lol. THAT will be fun for sure. Yes, my coffin is funny looking. But it's battery life is stupendous. Why thank you for the compliments. Once Schap's gets the beta done and releases the final version 4.00, I'll be adding HTC Home Plus....gonna have some fun with that baby!

Let's hope it's worth the hype that (i) will generate from it!

Is there anybody else in NYC here wanting to meet up?

Heh, some of us poor schmoes work in Corporate America.

I would be up for grabbing a couple of beers.

Man, I took this job because it is impossible to work in my field while I am in school getting my masters but I never thought it would be so insane there. I like it but I might jump out the window soon (Thank god it is street level )

I am down for drinks, lets do it something in November.
