VX6700 Not Taking a Charge!?!

I am praying someone can help me figure this out. I bought a VX6700 off eBay a couple months ago and noticed the battery life was crap when using the web browser. Since then it just got worse and worse, until a few days ago when I was able to surf from a full charge to dead in about 15 minutes. Then I go to plug it in and realize, it only charges for a few seconds, then turns off due to the battery dying. So I was told by Verizon the battery was shot, fine, I got a new one (real OEM).. Fast forward to today when I received my new battery, just to find it's doing the exact same thing! I plug it in, and it still isn't charging. 
I didn't drop it, it hasn't been dropped in water, nothing that could cause any problem I know of.
Any ideas anyone? PLEASE?
