Problem installing drivers with the Found New Hardware Wizard

Ok, I was following a "get connected" guide, and I was able to install the modem that allows the phone to charge. So far, so good. UNTIL I get to the part where I'm supposed to install all of the other drivers for Test Command Interface, Date Logging MCU, ect ect. Every time I plug in my phone Windows automatically takes over and installs them for me, it won't let me manually do it. Any way I can bypass this so it will let me browse to the drivers I really need to install?
Also, I read somewhere that when that happens you should install and run RSD Lite. So, I found it, installed it, and run it before I plug in the phone and the same thing happens. What am I missing?

I'm getting the same issue, well sort of. When I plug the device into the computer, windows (XP) tries to install the device, but always fails.
When I try to load the drivers from CD, I get errors in setup. I cannot browse the cd and pull the install files seperately either.
There is no support for the q9h available on any Motorola site I have visited.
Anyone else with some better ideas?

When the dialog box pops up and gives you two choices, to install automatically, or browse to a specific location, choose the bottom option and browse to the location where you have saved your P2K files. Open the drv folder and click ok. Do this for each install and it should work.
