Looking for a Quad Band WiFi phone

I recently lost my phone and thought I would go for the cheapest replacement. But, I have had a change of heart. After all, if I'm going to get a new phone, why not get one that I like?

I highly doubt that I will pay for the extra media services, but I would love to be able to surf the internet at places with wifi networks. Ideally, I would like a phone that is light and small, yet has wifi and can be used throughout the US and Europe (Unlocked GSM).

Any suggestions?

That's bad timing since the E51 is to be released in 2-3 weeks.

I suggest the E65.

well, i have an old SE that I can use as a temporary phone for a few weeks

is the E51 worth the wait? or why would you recommend it over the E65?

Yes it is since the price ($300 or so) is great for a WiFi S60 phone.

Pluses vs. E65: size but only 2" screen, bar form factor, FP1 (microSDHC = up to 32GB), FM radio, miniUSB instead of pop-port, A2DP, faster processor, and more RAM.

those seem like good reasons

any idea when the E51 will be available in the US?

also, is there any issue with using AT&T 3G network (thought I read somewhere that their network was picky)

Won't work with AT&T 3G. Nokia N95-3 is the only S60v3 WiFi phone that works with AT&T 3G.

However there are couples of WM phones with WiFi that work with AT&T 3G (Cingular/AT&T 8525, and AT&T Tilt).
