Just curious |

EDGE turned back on (I didn't enter any APN info because I am already an ATT user but I don't have an EDGE plan). So I thought of entering a false APN setting and leave EDGE ON... then re-started... Somehow, EDGE reset itself and was able to use the web eventhough I entered false APN settings before I restart!! Please help... those EDGE charges are too much!!!!!!! BTW, Ranova, I just stumbled upon your website. It is amazing! I wish I have known about it long time ago when I was unlocking my iphone. Thanks guys for all the effort you put into this. |

Wait, who is your EDGE provider? |

I did not install any of the above mentioned apps yet... but i did try to manually input the APN as "internet2.voicestream.com" under Network settings. Once I input this and go back, the phone freezes for a while and then goes back to the springboard. It does not save the APN I input. Any help? Thanks a lot in advance... |

Uninstall the StickyAPN if it has been installed. Reboot so we are starting fresh. BEFORE installing the package go to Settings > General > Network > EDGE. Verify or add the APN and username/password settings for your wireless carrier's EDGE network. AFTER setting the APN, use Installer.app to install the StickyAPN package. Exit Intaller.app and reboot your device. Let us know if it works with 1.1.2 |
I'll report back...|

But, can someone send me a sample of a normal looking one (before the TZones mod) so I can compare it to mine and fix what is different with respect to the core stuff that is not phone to phone dependent?
I'm afraid I screwed up my phone now... |

Note that I forgot to remove Customize.app before upgrading, so the APN screen was locking up, and you can't install the current Customize on 1.1.3. So i reset just Network settings in Settings > General > Reset. Voila! |

you're using 1.1.3 on T-Mobile? When did the sim-unlock come out? I thought we were only at a jailbreak for the time being? |
