Took the case back!

Took my iPhone case back tonight, was using the ( incase iphone case [black])
but all it really did was scratch the metal around the phone and collect dust since it wasnt flush against the phone;
anyone know of a good case that doesnt scratch the phone ( haha ) and sticks like a glove/ holds it tight?

Get a protective skin from www.bestskinsever.com and use your old or any case and it wont scratch the chrome

Yes you would be however it doesnt cover the flat part of the chrome

i mean its no big deal, i was just stating that the case does in fact scratch the phone. when its suppose to protect it hah

and is there any cleaner* or polish to use on the chrome?*

too bad the phone isn't " indestructible"

that would be perfect.

Its exactly the same as any other good brand skins and its the cheapest on the market and thats why people recommend it so much, its the best thing I ever bought for my phone and its highly recommended for all iPhone owners

You will need a case to protect the phone from drops, the skin only protects from scratches

Theres two piece, a front and back. The front piece covers the screen only and the back piece covers the whole back and chrome except for the flat part of the chrome, does that make sense ?

ah i see, well i have the orig screen protector on ( just cut around it to just fit the screen)

im not too worried about a drop, it would only fall a few feet and what..bounce and restart maybe?

i saw a test on the durability and it was impressive.

only thing it doesn't survive is toilet flush

and a fall off a 2 story deck

but a simple drop shouldn't inflict too much damage

The original screen protector is nothing, I bet if you took a key to it it would scratch your phone

A drop is different for everyone while one may break in half and another stop working due to something loose on the inside etc...

I seen that video too but the screen aint that durable as you think it is

If you think the screen is that durable I dare you to do some test like actual try to scratch the screen with a key unlike the video they dont try hard enough

The shiny black part around the earpiece ?

The BSE skin covers the whole front and has a cutout for the earpiece and home button but the skin comes with a piece that covers the home button

Buy three and get free shipping, sell the others if you dont need them

They dont get bubbles because you use water and soap solution and after 48 hours most if not all bubbles will disappear

I had the Incase Black Rubber skin as well, and I returned it. I loved the way it made the phone feel in my hand, but it was a pain in the *ss to get it in and out of pockets. It kept getting stuck and picking up lint. I like cases that aren't very bulky, so I went with the Agent18 black case and have loved it. It protects the phone very well and adds very minimal bulk.

yea i had the same case and same problem, it felt great in the hand but would get stuck coming out pocket, which was annoying like you mentioned.
well now i dont have a case so im risking it

but it feels much better without the extra bulk and slides in and out of pocket with ease,, so lets hope it stays this way

im not saying I want to try that, im just saying the whole dropping it and everything isnt as bad as it seems,

maybe STEPPING on it hah but just a simple drop wouldnt be that bad

Just I said before it all varys for everyone while one can break in half and another work perfectly fine

When it drops theres a good chance the screen can crack

true, absolutely correct.
but! if the screen aka the glass cracks the screen ( lcd) will still work as shown in the video

it will just be ugly with a big crack

The one in the video has a small crack compared the all the others I seen, side to side and top to bottom

Big compared to ? at the end of that video the phones screen stopped working from a big fall

just to "test it"

i walked outside with my iPhone

no case or anything and took it out of my pocket and let it fall on my driveway.
all that happened is it bounced and laid on the face.

picked it up and there was a slight scratch in the corner where it hit,
nothing changed except the scratch now,.

thus proving my theory/videos were correct, had to do it myself just to try it out

Like I said it varys

Someone can drop it from 1 feet and its not useable anymore, you dont even have to drop it for it to stop working

yes it can one day just stop working, but most likely its something you have done to the phone, ( hacked it or something) and i can almost bet anything a drop from 1 ft will not break/render the phone useless unless it falls into WATER or a LIQUID, but a simple fall to the ground will not, the phone is durable as seen in multiple videos across the web, you saying it varies it too abroad and doesn't apply to this really, now yes, if you happen to throw/drop it off a deck or building or some crazy place over 3 feet ( since all the tests were done at arms length roughly 3 feet) then long term damage will occur, as for it not working all of a sudden one day..?

and if so, i bet its something you PUT on the phone, nothing apple or att had to do with it.

I think if 100 people were lined up and all dropped there iPhone at the same time from 1 foot on the concrete, none of them would break...but if you frop it from a height more than 1 foot a couple of iphones could take a funny bounce and break...and if you keep dropping it continuously say goodbye..

ok i have casemate and it scratched my phone so i went and bought a INcase using taht now till my 3 bestskins ever arrive at which time i will just put that on in a incase. the casemate was nice but it didnt cover the phone fully and scratched it i dont think there will ever be a perfect solution

i used the incase black rubber case and it scratches the chrome edges, so i took mine back, im just naked now, and its slimmer and feels better anyways

so to start, other than incase what is a good RUBBER SLIM case to use so that incase of a drop my phone is protected, despite the tests i did which told me the phone is solid

just need a simple slim rubber case that still feels like the actual phone
no added weight or bulk
