The touch screen on my 8525 suddenly stopped working overnight, i tried a rom flash already and it didn't fix anything. Any suggestions?

the only thing i could recommend is to go into your settings (if you can get there) go the the screen setting and select align screen. i did this on my wing and it fixed the issue only if it is software related.

If it is software related then it should have gone away when i reinstalled the rom right?

well yeah but in an instance where maybe a registry edit or a 3rd party software you download could have screwed up something else in the phone. outside of that you may need to just talk to your carrier or the manufacturer.

Most of touch screen phone's screen has two layers. Top layer is digitizer and underneath layer is the actual LCD. Digitizer of your phone may has to be replaced.
