iPhone vs LX+Touch

k guys heres my situation, i have tmobile and my contract ends next week and i am stuck between getting an iPhone or getting a sidekick LX with an ipod touch. the reason i dont wanna get an iphone is becuz
A)at&t sux and is $650 more than tmobile over a one year period(minutes/data..)
B)heard their bringing out a 3g version next year so i figured id just do another one yr contract with tmobile and then get the 3g one next yr
C)should i just wait for the iPhone 2
