iPhone Newbie: Adding 3rd Party Apps

I have installer on my iPhone, but I've been told about iBrickr and it's benefits...
I'm using 1.1.1 and would like to keep it that way really.. Is there anyway for me to use a program SIMILAR to iBrickr (or just use iBrickr)?

You can always just SSH into your phone, and copy the .app file into your /Applications folder.
