I am looking for software other than Activesync to sync my P4000. I don't use outlook and therefore I am screwed as far as mickysoft is concerned. I use Thunderbird and the only thing out there that I can find that will do the job for my mail and contacts is Birdiesync. Works well but at over $40.00 just for software to sync it's a bit pricey. I have a week left on the trial and need to come up with something.

And please don't tell me to install outlook. I won't even go there :-)

Did you look at finchsynch? It seems to be free.

Tried that one before I found Birdiesync. It was kinda hit and miss. Used it to backup all my contacts off the phone before I did a hard reset and when I tried to restore them nada. tell me I was not pissed. soooo I kinda don't trust it.

I'm with ya, in the exact same boat - I want to do a hard reset but want to backup my contacts first...let us know if you find something.

Could potentially use this: PIM Backup 2.2

Don't have time to use it try it now, but Ill load it and try a back up and restore when I get a chance.
